Important Safety Information



Does HypoTears® have any side effects?
As with other artificial tears, HypoTears may be associated with a brief stinging and/or burning sensation and local irritation.

When should I see a doctor?
Discontinue use of these products and see a doctor if you experience any of the following:

  • Eye pain
  • Changes in vision
  • Continued redness or irritation of the eye
  • If the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours

Can I use HypoTears with other medications?
There are no known interactions with other medications.

Who should not use HypoTears?
HypoTears should not be used by anyone with a known allergy to any of its active or inactive ingredients.

HypoTears Lubricant
Eye Drops:
Active ingredients: Polyvinyl alcohol (1%), polyethylene glycol 400 (1%)

Inactive ingredients: Lipiden™ vehicle (dextrose, edetate disodium, and purified water). Preserved with benzalkonium chloride, 0.1 mg/mL

Keep out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.
