HypoTears®

hypotears

HypoTears belongs to a class of drugs called artificial tears, which are used to moisten the eyes. HypoTears temporarily relieves burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye or exposure to wind or sun. HypoTears also helps protect your eye against further irritation.

HypoTears contains two active ingredients: polyvinyl alcohol and polyethylene glycol 400.

The product comes in the following strength: 1% polyvinyl alcohol and 1% polyethylene glycol 400.

Using HypoTears
Administer 1 to 2 drops of HypoTears in the affected eye(s), as needed. To avoid contaminating the eye dropper, make sure you do not touch it to your eye or any other surface.

If you wear contact lenses, remove them before applying HypoTears eye drops. You can reinsert your contact lenses 15 minutes after you've used HypoTears.
